I guess you didn't read it or didn't read it right cause you CAN see everything in the verse at the dig site. You'll not see everything in the painting from the dig site similar to water tower in Chicago or Italian Garden from Cleveland dig site.

I read it. There is some logic to the solve but I still don’t think BP would bury one there , basically across the street from the police, having to jump a fence with a probe and shovel . Out in the open and many people walking by as well as cameras pointing toward you. Not a safe spot in my books. Then again it’s a theory, Good Luck.

I don't know if there was a fence involved. I used to think that he would never dig in a ball park but after Boston I wont count any reasonable place out. When you see the shadow of her nose pointing to letters "UN" on her upper arm and subsequently the V shaped thing with F1 inside on her sleeve it would be hard to unsee it. In reality the direction of the obelisk (north for a gnomon) points to Queensboro Bridge which is in the painting over Blackwell's Island. The v shaped planter is at 11 o'clock position of the gnomon.

Well one may never know for sure unless one has connections with the NYC parks department or takes on a huge risk. Just a bit more for Battery park. Below is a map of the park from the early 80s. As you can see the section of the East Coast memorial behind the Eagle has been altered since the 80s. Today there is no pathway behind the Eagle and the monument wall may have been shortened in length somewhat, can’t say for certain about the shortening part. This could put the casque in a different location relative to the current wall or the casque may have been destroyed or removed with any excavation done in the past. Im trying to envision the exact spot by placing the objects seen in the painting in the same order as one would see from the dig site.

Just adding a bit more thought to this location. When it comes to creating a painting, artists usually use a reference of a previous picture,(image)or a live model. Now I don’t know anything about who or when the painting of Jesus walking on the water was done. I found it interesting that the hand on the Right side was a close match to JJPs art. Coincidence? Back to the JFK theory, also one might say JFK was playing chicken with the Russians during the missile crisis.
More like a foot path so people can tend to the plants.

Is it intentional that BP used the number 3 in this verse rather than spelling it out like other small numbers in other verses? There's plenty of space for it compared to the next line. Perhaps there's a "word" in 3 Vols. Do you see it?

I think those lines “ The natives still speak of him of Hard word in 3 Vols.” is just referring to JFK and the 3 books that he wrote. The last book title was “ A Nation of Immigrants “. Now that book was published after his assassination, and the last of the 3 book he authored. It would make sense to not look too deep into that line. I still think it’s about the number of books he wrote or the 3rd and last book. This ties into the immigration theme nicely.
The fact that the “H” is capitalized in the “ Hard word”, gets me thinking of Harvard or it could pertain to his going to the moon speech he gave at Rice University or both.
Don’t know why he chose a 3 over a three . Maybe the line implies that the “solV3” to all the puzzles is somehow a JFK tie in? Anyones guess.

If you literally look within 3 Vols. (3Vol) and read backwards or mirrored you'll find love! 3Vol--loVƐ That may be a tie in with "Isle of B."

Guys I'm using that verse for a different location... Which means other combos have to be changed

I use verse 10 for St Louis. Pic 6.. In the shadow of the grey giant.. If you look in the arm of the conquistador you see the gateway arch.. Others have this picture for St Augustine.. I respectfully disagree

But there is a palm tree in the painting ( St. Augustine).I don’t think palm trees, especially coconut palms grow in St. Louis. Why have a conquistador in St. Louis???
I believe the comment made by BP way back when was something along the line that St. Louis is right but not the city. If you read my Quebec City theory “Montreal….NOT”, you start at Rue de St. Louis and head south to the Joan of Arc garden. The city of St. Louis doesn’t fit the pattern that all the other casques are in coastal, ( large body of water) city parks, but if you wish to hunt for one there it’s your choice, good luck.

I contend Montreal has the correct verse.

Again your choice to believe that it’s in Montreal . Happy hunting. I don’t try to push my theories on anyone. I just post what makes logical sense and if someone can see something that is 100% wrong then please correct/ inform me . I can change / refine my theory. Can’t say I get everything right. The theory evolves over time when new information comes to light. Remember not too many people considered Poupolo park in Boston even though it was obvious and made logical sense.
