February Submissionimgur.com/a/q16qdzWI also thought, if it's heavy like a Bourbon Red and roosts for Reds are only 18 inches high, then I should look for waymarkers of a shorter height. Here's a very famous waymarker, The North Pole. Not it!

April Submission
imgur.com/a/8eUooPtI looked up "realized" in the book and found this: "They were disappointed I had solved the puzzle without them, but when they realized I knew the signpost to a pot of gold, they remained committed and excited." Then I recalled the Sunset Trail sign is the color of a Bourbon Red. The sign itself is pointing us in the right direction - "pointy" head. Feathers on my butt might be the plumage of grass at its base. It sits atop a 4" by 4" post. It was certainly a signpost to a pot of gold for me. Not it!

I thought it might be good to begin to share where we know it's not - a collection of failed submissions, documented here, so that we don't duplicate past "guesses". This way we can only move forward. I'll post my May entry and all past entries next week.

Also, I'm of the thought, be it popular or not, that the second key is a phone number. Another easy question would be to confirm this or throw it out. Is Key 2 a phone number? Done.

We know that what we need to discover Key 2 is in front of us along this stretch of very specific road. In Lukas's last hint video he says some phrases that I think are important...
First, "yes, you can find all the information you need in the stretch indicated by that map." - LS
Second, "yes, but you will have to manipulate information that you find in that area to get the second key." - LS
If I were to get picked for the question, I'd like to try to get at or define what "manipulation" means. Is it a math problem? an anagram? etc? I believe, if we can understand the function of the manipulation, we'll have a better understanding of what to look for - numbers vs. words vs. whatever.

I personally believe key 2 is another 10 digit phone number that activates the 2nd feedback mechanism. To me "feedback mechanism" means phone number. ..but I can certainly be wrong.

I've always felt that "equal" is an instruction, but I've yet to make it payoff.

I, personally, like to hear the inflection in his voice. Sometimes the way something is said is just as important as what is said.

I agree. It's why its a line and not an X or star. Pieces are located within the line's area that need to be gathered and manipulated to generate a key.

I believe the cipher to be drilling us down to exactly that stretch. I don't view it as separate parts of the key, but as a means to get to where the key is. That said, I'm stuck, too.

I agree. Why not a marker or a star. Instead, it's a section. I think everything there, from road to road, is fair game.

Clue, March 2020 – A massive endeavor points to your case of bourbon.
Clue, April 2020 – Bourbon is for celebrating the riddle, not finding the solution.
"Think outside of the case. Seriously." - Pete
