So I've been working on the Treasure #9. I have figured out the egyptian heiroglyphs on the tree. It seems to say "Mountain Time" (mtn time) as in Mountain time zone. Based on the words on all four sides it seems that it is a reference to "sleeping beauty". Once upon a dream.. The main character was Aurora. There are two cities named Aurora in the central time zone. Aurora, Colorado and Aurora, New Mexico. It would seem the color scheme of the starry night (blue and white...with the red letters in the text would represent the state of colorado flag. Plus you see mountains in the background. The E.T. in the sun is the Amblin Entertainment logo used by Stephen Spielberg. Amblin first produced the movie "Continental Divide" in 1981. The four red letters spell "PATH". Not sure why the H is capitalized. The word ONE is capitalized in white. (ONE patH)? That's all I have so far. I'm continuing to look at the lantern, raccoon, E. T., butterfly and the watch for more clues.

This thread is too quiet! I have some ideas about the area I'm looking into, but it's mostly big picture and I haven't connected all of the smaller pieces yet...mainly the watch and the lantern - I can't decide if it's 10, or 9:59...was this clarified anywhere?

Clarification question for the hunt. Can you armchair everything from the picture down to the very spot or do you need BOTG for some pieces to make sense? For example, every piece leads me to one super specific spot that I can send someone to OR most pieces will get me to the correct area/trail head, then some clues will make more sense once someone is there that will lead to the specific location/tree? I have an idea of an area it could be in, but there are a couple of little things I can't place - I don't want to send someone on a wild goose chase if I need to have every piece fit together beforehand if that makes sense.

HoustonTxDave - Team Gmone Dave, I believe you are in the right"ish" area and would like to share my thoughts on a more precise location. There's a couple things I can't quite place, but think that is bc I would need to be there. How many people are in your group? Can you PM me?

Hi folks,
We are in the Denver, Colorado area right now searching for the gnome. We had alot of questions from people on the facebook group, Mysterious Writings forum and on youtube. So this is why we are here...
The heiroglyphs in the painting say "Mountain Time" (Mtn time) as in Mountain Time zone. Our thoughts are reading the text around the boarder is that its a reference to the movie "Sleeping Beauty". A Walt Disney movie. The main character's name in the movie is Aurora. There are 2 Auroras in the Mountain time zone. One in Aurora, Colorado (around Denver) and the other in Aurora New Mexico. The ET logo is a reference to Amblin Entertaiment a company by Steven Spielberg. His first movie made under Amblin Entertainment was "Continental Divide". Walt Disney patterned Mainland USA in his Disney park after the old town of Fort Collins, Colorado (northern part of Denver). The font used in the boarder text is called "Frontiersman". The raccoon in the picture is a reference to "Denver Boone" which is the mascot of the University of Denver. Walt Disney was asked by the Universitiy of Denver to created a design for U of D and so Walt Disney created the "Denver Boone" mascot who wears a raccoon hat. Thus the raccoon in the painting.
In the main painting..there are only 2 things that actually go outside the frame. The butterfly's wings which are touching the letters "D" & "E" with the top right butterfly wing pointing to a nut ("Starts with an "N)..so DEN (first 3 letters of Denver). The second thing reaching outside the main painting are the "Tree Branches" which are touching the letters "Walt" in the word Waltzing. The tree branches are also touching the word "Near"
So..armed with this info we flew up to Denver and are searching areas in Aurora, Colorado...Fort Collins Colorado..the area near the University of Denver...and many parks in and around the Denver area. They do have a park named "Gnome Park". We are also watching the video that Dustin White and Deidra White posted of them buring the gnome. That tree is also in the painting.
The red letters in the text spell out "path" and the word "ONE" is capitalized. (ONE PATH)
Vincent van Gogh painted Starry Night. Which is used in the background of the painting. He said.. "Looking at the stars always makes me dream."
We got home late last night from searching but still no find. The questions we still have but havent figured out are 1. What is the meaning of the "Old Pocket Watch" underground under the tree and 2. The lantern in the painting?
Thanks from Dave (aka HoustonTxDave) from search team "Team Gnome"

Another thought...Frontiersman font, Walt Disney and the raccoon, for me, all point to Daniel Boone. He was one of two frontiersmen known to wear a coon skin cap (the other being Davey Crockett) and Disney had a series called Daniel Boone.
There are a few towns called Boone in the U.S. but only one in the Mountain Time Zone, also in Colorado.
You might want to look near Boone CO instead.

I noticed one park near Boone has a trail called Raccoon Ridge. Might not mean anything.

So are y'all still looking in Den? I have an idea but don't want to take you off your trail. Someone did offer to look at my area for me, so if its not there, I will inform everyone of what we did/didn't find. One think I do want to note, maybe this will help everyone, is the watch big hand is pointing toward the gnome. I think once you find the watch/tree represented in the picture you need to head in the 10 o'clock direction. What are your thoughts on the initials? I thought it was DW at first, now I'm wondering if it is cursive Den. The location is definitely in CO though, too many overarching details.
