Hasn't Pete mentioned this chapter in his last two Facebook videos?
* The first two lines of the poem is repeated at the end of the poem.
* The poem says "whoever" wrote it and then hints that a "she" wrote it. The saying is usually attributed to golfer Walter Hagen and was a hit single by Mac Davis.
* The last half of the poem has awkward-looking formatting when compared to the first half.
Other observations about the chapter:
* Some alliteration with the letter "p."
* "speaks to the cracks in our lives" sounds like a hint to me.
* Seems to allude to the hustle and bustle of people and then mentions "Movement of People" with capital letters.
* Joe the Hummingbird

And if you we're 100 percent sure of your solve, someone else may have already got it.

I remember thinking that, too.

Could be, I need to freshen up on the story. I didn't know about that one. The joker says something like that too in Batman.

I think this line is important...
"Everything seemed turned upside down, which I think made my brain view all of the clues from a different perspective."
Possibly, some words or numbers need turned upside down in order to make other letters/words/etc.

I believe it was an acrylic display stand for a tiara...
This is toward the end of the story- "Mrs. Huff's old jeweled tiara from the acrylic display stand"

I've got a lot of possible hints written down...is it proper to post them?
From memory, I believe the "pained body parts" helped to hide Thomas Paine's name? (I got this from Jenny's story.)

Very weird. I asked Custard, but he wouldn't say if this website was related to the search. It wants you to look at tickets. Tickets say Oklahoma. But...no actual contact info is listed.

I like the way this author writes. I wouldn't doubt that this person is a successful author who is doing this for fun. Let's work on it.

Is it possible that past and present tense helps distinguish clues? For instance, the Russian wrestler story and the Wine Tennis story is in the past and not a real part of the hunt. IDK.

Hinds, The Camel I would think normally the name would be Hinds the Camel without "the" being capitalized in the name. This leads me to believe the comma was added in order to justify capitalizing "The." And, this leads me to believe the capital letters in Hinds, The Camel are important. Maybe part of an anagram? I'm only half-kidding when I say I'm looking for an anagram that says to disregard all odd or even-numbered pages
