FF has never sent me an e-mail. I feel slighted. lol He does seem to be quite a character. My favorite thing to have read about him is how he and his friend Eric Sloane said they wanted to build a covered bridge but their wives wouldn't let them buy a river. LOL. A great extravagant idea for year-round fishing.

Nope. I've sent him one blaze, no response. People have sent him pictures of holes where they say the chest was, people have sent him pictures of the Taos Pueblo with the chest sitting there in the water (they claim it is the chest), went there and said it was gone, no response from Fenn. Because it wasn't the right spot. Exactly. But IF someone sent him a picture with a hole and themselves standing in it, and the blaze, and the exact coordinates and Fenn knew it was the right place.... Would he reply? Probably not! Would he announce the chase is over? Yes, IMO Someone on another blog recently posted this. It doesn't rule out my private property via proxy item idea (because someone could find the proxy, and simply not take ownership of the title). Anyway, listen to this video at 11:00: reportfromsantafe.com/episodes/view/144/forrest-fenn/Text: Q) How will we know if somebody finds it, will you make an announcement? A) "Depends on the person. The person that finds it may not want the IRS to know it, in which case I’ll never know it, probably. But, the kind of person who would go out and find it is the same kind of person who can’t keep it quiet. He’s like me you know he’s got to broadcast it. f” So if I am wrong, he has no way of knowing unless someone sends the exact information proving there were there. A solution won't work, you need to go there and prove it. That is why I said the sad part of this is that crazy morons will be creating fake blazes and digging holes. To remedy this personally, I think the blaze cannot be easily moved and/or recreated. Forrest knows there are a lot of clowns out there that will be drawing stick figures, FF's, Omegas and digging holes. Plus it is possible someone was looking (and failed) there already a few years ago.

There is a slight chance, that the TC has not been found. In that case may be there is not a bad idea to establish formal company for the treasure hunt.

A formal company? What do you mean by that? Limited Partnership or Small Corporation.

A partnership to find the chest? Liking teaming up and splitting it? There is a lot of talk like that on the "forrest fenn fans" on Facebook page.

Based on Fenn recent change in language, lack of an annual update, and comments confirming short emails contained key word this past year. It is quite possible the poem has been solved but not likely the chest has been removed. Sure it is possible to remove it under the cloak of darkness or thwart any surveillance device if you believe they are employed, but one has to consider Mr. Fenn is pretty crafty with how he knows and he hinted at that at the Moby Dickens interview. If you were Mr. Fenn and you really wanted to know if the chest was retrieved how would you ensure it? He hinted about an IOU in the chest, perhaps there is something in there that guarantees the finder will come forward. Just use your imagination to figure out what that could be. When asked "Has anyone determined the nine clues and what they represent?" "I don't know that anybody has.told me the clues in the right order." f www.youtube.com/watch?v=O9czRin3Tasagypsyskiss.wordpress.comBegs the question, why did he find the need to add the qualifier "in the right order" if the nine clues have not been solved? In other words can it read, "Each of the nine clues have been solved by one person, but they did not give them to me in the correct order"

Is it possible to arrive at the 9th clue if you mess up the order of any of the previous clues? Sounds like you can.

Is it possible to arrive at the 9th clue if you mess up the order of any of the previous clues? Sounds like you can. I believe so, but as Mr. Fenn says, you can't find the treasure unless you have the first clue and yet so many have that. That says it all. He also says the clues are contiguous, and need to be followed in order to find the chest. He has said the minimum clue to find the chest is the last one. Yet people are arriving at the 9th one, then why are they not finding it? Because they needed to be followed in order. Forrest, What’s the minimum number of clues that we need to solve to find the treasure, assuming that we follow the clues in order? `Serge Teteblanche
Just one Serge, the last one.f
So has it ever occurred to anyone that you can get to 200 feet or near the 9th clue on a hunch, yet you can only find the treasure by following the clues?

A wise person would not send the clues to f in order, email or otherwise. #@&! happens. Nor would they send them all together in the same correspondence. And if they were really smart, they wouldn't connect the clues to points on a map. A smart person would mix all of this up so that only Forrest would understand it. I am sure if someone is smart enough to figure out such a difficult poem, they are smart enough to communicate that to Mr. Fenn in an appropriate way.
