Pete said we should be able to differentiate the three hunts! Ha ha. Joke is on us.

Perhaps the mileages are for one of the other hunts.

I was 99% sure it was not there, as I explained in my post. I felt it was thin, but I feel that what led me there will be useful in the correct solve, that is, the Wizard of Oz references. Anyway, Minotaur has checked my area, and it's not there. For what it is worth, if I did happen to find it, I will not tell a soul until after the August deadline (this includes Pete). It helps Pete sell books and my team makes an additional $5,000 for waiting... win/win. Minotaurmoreno, I read your post about if you "happen to find it" (the treasure) you would not turn it in until the August deadline so that you could get the extra $5000, as it would be a win/win situation for you and Pete. Well, you obviously think very little of your fellow treasure hunters. You would be allowing them to go on wasting time on the hunt, and money on trips looking for the treasure. I find that to be morally objectionable. I don't know how many people you have in your team, but for a few more thousand bucks, you may cause other treasure hunters to waste thousands and thousands of dollars. I hope other hunters read this post and take note of what type of person you really are. If I were on your team, I would think twice about trusting you. I hope treasure hunters that are also participating in other current hunts read your post also. They should be aware of the kind of person they are dealing with.

Didn't Pete ask that if you have a solve, not to reveal it, as he may not be able to release the other two hunts then? I think he said, he hopes the person who finds the treasure doesn't reveal where they found it. Well then why would someone reveal their entire solve because they are quitting the hunt? It could be where the treasure is located.

Someone sent me a private message on another forum, to tell me that they had sent me a message HERE. But I did not receive it. Is the message system operational on this forum?

I'm not only stumped by Mr. Bebee, but also on this same page (page 55), we have Mr. Parker, Old Man Marsh, and Johnny Carson. I can't figure out any connections at all.

I had never thought of that either. I wonder why Desertphile had spelled it that way...

I found something for the 1,022. What I found has nothing in common with The Camel, but since I don't know what the Camel is, I can't be sure that there isn't some type of relationship.
Aatree, it appears you understand who The Camel is. Do you care to elaborate or give a hint?

Book reads "cypher" in one place, but "decipher" in another place.

On page 35, Nelson states that he was the, "great great great grandson of The Camel".
Does anyone have any idea of who "The Camel" could be?

I am wondering if anyone has seen any hints in Breakfast Tea and Bourbon that allude to the old hunt of the 1980s, "Masquerade", by Kit Williams.
By accident, I have come across two things in the book that could be references to "Masquerade". I don't know if these things I have found are just Pete showing his respect for the old hunt, or if they really are solid clues to help us solve Breakfast Tea and Bourbon.
